But recently, without me evening realizing it, some of my pictures have been flying all over the internet. My friend Hugh describes this far better than I do on his blog, but a few pictures of I took of a tiny room inside a PC ended up on a message board, and things took off from there all the way to BoingBoing.
In addition to that, pictures I've taken of computers and technology were also featured on LifeHacker in The Intimate Life of Circuits.
I've also gotten some wonderful attention and feedback from my hardware business, Flytrap Gear, which turns e-waste into effects boxes.
Also in alignment with e-waste, recycling, and music, is my music project Broken Happiness Machines. The community at 8bit Collective have been truly terrific.
Oh yeah, and the video walk-out effect you see here on this website - I figured that out recently too. My friends have been getting a real kick out of it.
Finally, the software I developed and released as open-source for the Commodore PET called PetSynth has been getting truly wonderful feedback. I'm thrilled, I can't wait to see what happens next!
So, to all the people who have ever said, or done, or been in any way great to me, which is all of my friends and family, as well as all the people on the internet who've given me the thumbs up, even if they didn't know it, from the bottom of my heart... thank you.
This is exciting!
